William Anderson Hatfield II, also known as Cap Hatfield, was the last surviving member of the Hatfield clan who was directly involved in the infamous Hatfield-McCoy feud.

Born in 1864 in Mingo, West Virginia, Cap Hatfield was the second son of William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield and Levicy Hatfield. As a young man, Cap became deeply embroiled in the feud, which had been raging for decades between his family and the McCoy clan.
