GameStop Corporation (GME) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2022. The company reported quarterly revenue of $2.25 billion, a decrease of 33% year-over-year. Net loss for the quarter was $947 million, compared to a loss of $148 million in the same period last year. The company attributed the decline in revenue and increase in net loss to a decrease in hardware and software sales, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the full year, GameStop reported revenue of $9.5 billion, an increase of 31% year-over-year. Net income for the year was $534 million, compared to an income of $1.02 billion in the previous year. The company attributed the increase in revenue and net income to the growth of its e-commerce business and the success of its loyalty program.

GameStop said that it will host an investor conference call today to discuss its financial results. The call will be held at 5:00 pm Eastern Time and will be webcast live on the company's website.
