Toronto FC's Unbeaten Run Snapped by Colorado Rapids

Commerce City, Colorado - The Colorado Rapids extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night.

The Rapids took the lead in the 23rd minute when Diego Rubio found the back of the net after a beautiful assist from Jack Price. Toronto FC equalized in the 55th minute through a penalty kick from Alejandro Pozuelo. However, the Rapids regained the lead in the 70th minute when substitute Andre Shinyashiki scored a stunning goal.

The Rapids held on for the victory, despite Toronto FC pushing for an equalizer in the closing stages of the match. The win moved the Rapids up to sixth place in the Western Conference, while Toronto FC remains in third place in the Eastern Conference.

Colorado Rapids' Unbeaten Streak Continues

The Rapids' unbeaten streak now stands at five games, with three wins and two draws. This is their longest unbeaten streak since 2016.

The Rapids' defense has been key to their success during this streak, as they have only conceded two goals in their last five games.

The Rapids will look to continue their unbeaten streak when they travel to face the San Jose Earthquakes next Saturday.
