Who is Jens Dendoncker?

Jens Dendoncker is a Belgian comedian, actor, and television personality. He is best known for his appearances on the Flemish television shows "De Slimste Mens ter Wereld" and "Het Glazen Huis". Dendoncker has also released two comedy specials, "Zijn Er Nog Voorstellingen?" and "Jens Dendoncker: Alleen".

Early Life and Career

Dendoncker was born in Antwerp in 1988. He began his career in comedy at an early age, performing at open mics and comedy clubs. In 2013, he won the prestigious "Humo's Comedy Cup", which helped launch his career. From 1998 until 2005, Jens Dendoncker attended primary school in the Jacob Marislaan in Ranst. From 2005 until 2011, he attended secondary school, Heilig Hart Instituut, in Kapellen.[1] After that, Jens Dendoncker studied for 1 year to become a preschool teacher but quit after 1 year.[1] In 2012, Dendoncker took a master class in philosophy at the University of Antwerp but quit after 9 months.[1] Dendoncker on April 7, 2022 announced that he was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 33.

In 2014, Dendoncker made his television debut on the show "De Slimste Mens ter Wereld". He quickly became a fan favorite with his witty humor and quick wit. Dendoncker has also appeared on the shows "Het Glazen Huis", "De Zevende Dag", and "Zijn Er Nog Voorstellingen?".
